Maratdon Grill and Ale House in Maratdon

What a great find! We were in Marathon for vacation and panicked when we realized we couldn't watch the Ravens game at our rental. I quickly searched for places we could view the game and found this wonderful establishment. We were greeted as soon as walked in, there were games on all the TVs, we had great food, good drinks and very accommodating employees. We will definitely be back, we couldn't of enjoyed ourselves more-and the Ravens won, it was a win win (and win for you Office fans out there- we all won).

Love the steak.. Fish dip and well pretty much anything i have eaten there!

Strange location in a strip mall. The waitress was super friendly. Food and drinks were good. The fresh Mahi was excellent. Burger was standard, but at least not overcooked.

A place locals enjoy, good service. Consistent menu.

Tucked away in a corner, they have good food and nice happy hour!

Great place to eat, April was our waitress, very friendly, . checked on us to see if we needed anything. Food was delicious would recommend going there.

This place is amazing, been in the keys for two days and this was the best food I’ve had. Their grouper is cooked perfectly and the calamari as well. It’s really hard to find well cooked calamari, and they nailed it. Also the pulled pork sliders are amazing and full of flavor!

Fantastic experience. The service was impeccable with great customer service and speed. The food was very tasty. I highly recommend!!!

Grouper basket was terrible. Over fried, didn't taste fresh. Fries were terrible, tasted like frozen reheated in a microwave.

Services could have been a lot better would give 1 star but the food was so good it carries this place to a 3 star

Horrible service (no service for the first half hour), badly made cocktails(when you got them)and high prices. Where's bar rescue? Go to ss wreck or island fish company!

There was only 1 server. Took 20 minutes to receive our drinks, but the bartender had no customers so I dont inderstand that. It took 30 minutes before she took our food order. And then we waited another 40 minutes for our food. Not impressed at all. At least 3 tables came in after us and had their food before us. No one has asked us if we wanted refills at all.

Love the food and early bird specials but can't tolerate the excessively loud music. I go home with a headache everytime! No more! Please post if you have any non music nights!

I love this bar! It has a pub feel and classic wood decor. They have a good selection of beer and tasty cocktails! Haven't tried the food but it seems tasty. Rachel and Cody are the best bartenders ever! Attentive and crazy with the cocktails... Rachel is definitely the fastest, most efficient, and hottest bartender in all of the keys! I'll be back because of her, but will stay for the quality

Always good food, great service! So many choices to choose from too. And it's nice and cool to relax out of the heat.

Stopped in for a cold beer and met some great people....Erin was an awesome bartender, lots of great conversation and very friendly.....will be back again...

They offer a wide selection of craft beers, nice menu to choose from and on Fridays they have Prime Rib from 4:00 till ? Both Queen and king cuts available. Kinda quaint place to hang out. Plenty of TV’s for the games. Stop by and give it a try.Please hit “Like” if this was helpful. Thanks.

Food was great, had the Ahi Tuna and the pear salad. Very tasty, wait was kind of long (35¢ wing Thursday) when I finally got sat waiter came and said "I don't know why they sat you in my section, I'm not taking anymore tables" as he started helping a large party that came in AFTER me. Ended up moving to the bar and the bartender was great and attentive unlike the waiter. They must have been short staffed because a few tables left since no one came to even take drink orders.

Great beer selection (though they were out of the Founders Lager😉) and great ambiance!

Great Food. Nice staff. Super Early Bird specials. Buy one, Get one free.The Chicken Diablo is fabulous, as is the Chicken Parmesan. The calamari is the best in town. Super Friendly bartender. Have eaten there several times over the years. Always great food!

April was a great waitress, helped us to decide from the many options on the menu. Bang bang shrimp and lobster rueben both delicious!! Potato salad was great, wish our trip wasn't so short, this place is highly recommended.

Needs work. Clean the floors. Smells funky.

This is our go to place for a great meal in comfortable surroundings. They have added the chicken pot pie back to the menu, so perfect for a cool night meal.

Goods reviews lead us to Marathon Grill. Pulling up in the parking lot put a bit of doubt in us as the facade is quite plain and unassuming. Our salad was very good as they make many of their own dressings. The ribs and patty melt were very good as was the key lime pie and carrot cake. Our server Amanda was pleasant and attentive. Much like the book analogy, don't let the building facade fool you, we will return.

Definitely a must if your anywhere close to Marathon Florida. Atmosphere, food and drinks were all great. We had the blackened tuna bits, blackened mahi-mahi sandwich and shrimp cocktail. It was all amazing. Service was outstanding also. This grill needs more advertisement out by the main road. Didn’t know it was there if I hadn’t looked up google reviews.

Great Happy Hour menu (4-6pm and again from 10-midnight), always great service but particularly Chris is on point, how do you stay so friendly til midnight!? My family visiting from out of town felt at home with your service! Taco Tuesday is terrific and the Pot Pies are perfect! Close with their signature Key Lime Pies!

Great food late night. I was shocked. I had black and blue prime rib amazing. Even the potato was perfect. My girl had scallops she was impressed. Do not pass this place up. A+++

This is a nice little tucked-away place off the Overseas Hwy at Marathon Key and a good stop. They feature local pours on tap, decent food, laid-back atmosphere and plenty of parking. Sports Bar.

Food was great. Service was bad. They need to check the chairs and tables. There was a split in one of the chairs we were using. When one of us sat down, the split tore through his pants. No compensation for it either.

This is one of my favorite places to eat when I'm in Marathon. Their ribs are fall off the bone and the sauce is 👌.

Very sloppy nachos big chunks of red onions on it and tomatoes.wings barely had any sauce. The waitress had the nerve to get upset bc I didn't like the nachos. We also had to get are own napkins bc she never bought any.Will never go there again.

This place feels dirty. Both our wine glasses had old red wine in them. They waitress said "they are all like that". The metal tray holding my tacos looked grimy. I think the food is probably good here, but not worth the contamination risk for me. BTW, they charged for the wine even though we would not drink it...

Had an amazing time. Place has great hours. Food was delicious, couldn’t ask for a better steak. If you ever go in ask for Chris. Best server by far. Always pays attention to everything.

They have the best potato salad we have ever had, wish we knew the secret. Any of the soup if fantastic. Our kid even loved the mac-n-cheese. We ate here multiple times on our trip it was so good. Definitely a hidden gem.
